Umesh Agrawal was born on November 18, 1967 in New Delhi, India. He has completed schooling in New Delhi with Science stream. Graduated in Electronics and Communication Engineering from NSIT, New Delhi & there after Post graduated in Management studies from Department of Management, IIT, and Delhi.

Strong engineering mind with innovative ideas led to start career as Graduate Engineer in R&D division of Uptron Powertronics Ltd. in 1990 and was instrumental in successful introduction of SMPS based Telecommunication Power systems in India. In 1995 joined a new JV company as first employee and instrumental in setting up operation and team building to have profitable operation in first year itself. Subsequently moved to a large multinational company in leadership role and led engineering and manufacturing operations in India and SAARC region.

In 2011, he started own venture “Pure N Safe” ( Now Pure N Safe Pvt. Ltd.) with aim to provide End to End quality water treatment solutions with an ideal of not only to earn profit but to develop and bring Green, New and Sustainable technologies in India to provide quality solutions to customers. Large population in India and SAARC, Africa region still do not have access to purified drinking water. This led to idea of developing low cost yet technological advanced water treatment solutions as a corporate social responsibility of “Pure N Safe”.

He has joined hands with various leading companies across the globe and has formed a JV with a German Company “Watch Water” in India.

Mr. Umesh Agrawal strives to provide safe drinking water to all consumer segments at every price point and include innovative solutions to treat water contaminated with fluoride, iron, arsenic and nitrates and other new age contaminants like PFAs etc.
